Meditation brings you back to your essence…

Most of our diseases today are caused by stress. Stress, worry, fear and anxiety have for many years concerned modern society and affect our health, and it gets worse. The pace of of time is getting faster and faster and with social media the expectations in our private and work life are increasing, which causes even more stress and more disconnection from our own Self, our true essence.

The only way to escape is to slow down.

Meditation has shown to achieve health benefits for the human body, such as slowing heart rate, lower blood pressure, improve sleeping cycles etc. Meditation helps as well to reduce headaches/migraines and respiratory problems, it helps with pain management and insomnia.

Meditation and mindfulness has been a crucial tool in treating many mental illnesses such as depression or schizophrenia while it has also been shown to boost the functionality of the immune and nervous system.

Science proves it already, however, one universal benefit in dealing with stress is perhaps the most important, and that is meditation’s ability to help the practitioner relax in one’s own skin.
